The theme of the 43rd annual Symposium on the American Indian is "Children: The Seeds of Change -- The Impact of Tribal Knowledge and Sovereign Rights on the Future of Cultural Identity."
The history, education, human experiences, arts, social issues, and politics of tribal peoples will be examined through presentations, discussions, and cultural activities.
Activities will be presented on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the University Center, the Event Center, and the Webb Auditorium, with cultural activities taking place on the grounds of NSU. All events are free and open to the public.
