"We (11 or 12) had a tremendous day Saturday when our CAHR group went to Colcord, Oklahoma and visited the Talbot Library & Museum. We took the museum exhibits in, stopped and ate lunch in their neat little school house, devoured more information in the library and headed back to Cincinnati with a few extra pieces of paper or copied notes for history or genealogy", one attendee posted on Facebook.
Continuing the Facebook post, "A special thanks to Ms. Grace, Donna Clark and our own Glenita Guthrie. They are an awesome bunch of ladies and so helpful in our research. Come down to Cincinnati on August 27 where our monthly meeting will be about "Old Tools – “Building a Frontier Town”. Bring your tool to exhibit, and listen to the fascinating history behind these family pieces. See you then in beautiful, historical downtown Cincinnati."
The Talbot Library and Museum was so happy to have CAHR visit us!
