This is a new book by Clint Crowe and published in 2019. This book covers the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek and Seminole tribes during this difficult time of 1861-1965. These tribes joined and fought for the Union and the Confederacy while also fighting their own bloody civil war on lands surrounded by Kansas, Arkansas and Texas. The author has done extensive research about these struggles by the tribes, and their divisions internally.
