Dr. McCullagh has done extensive research on female Seminary graduates. 188 young women graduation from the Seminary between 1879 and 1910. 20 of them never married, seven died at a young age. This book concentrates on the lives of the 20 that did not marry, many went on to prominent educational and professional accomplishments. The names of these women include Archer, Benge, Mayes, Covel, McNair, Starr, Lane, Gulager and others. A fine history of the Seminary as well. Paperback, 82 pages, including photos, full name index, and footnotes.
