The Cherokee Nation adopts Sequoyah's Syllabary and the Cherokee are struggling to keep their land which Georgia is certain it owns. Chief Pathkiller dies in 1827 and his successor Br.Charles Renatus Hicks dies, and missionary Br John Gambold.
