We love this one from Terry Rose of Westville, Oklahoma. Terry is a retired school teacher and TL&M subscriber. He has contributed articles to TL&M in the past.
He sent us note about some of the stories in our last TL&M publication - 2020, Volume 2.
The other one was Dusty Richards. I have know him since 1960 when he and some lifelong family friends came to NW Arkansas because of my dad. Sumner Smith of Phoenix met Dusty in college and talked him into coming to Green Forest to meet with my family. He wanted us to help them find a large, but cheap, piece of land in NW Arkansas. My dad had known the Smiths since the 30's in Phoenix...Sumner's mom is the lady that brought me and my mom home from the hospital when I was born. I have spent many an hour at Winslow visiting with Dusty, Sumner and his brother Monroe Smith...life long friends. Dusty was a great writer and good friend to my dad for many years.
Just an FYI--See I do know someone important other than you...lol Love U"
