This beautifully crafted basket by Cherokee Nation artist, Stephanie Stick, celebrates traditional artistry, cultural heritage, and generations of craftsmanship. This basket features an intricate natural colored, open weave design with a decorative interlaced rim and a striking deep navy blue accent band encircling the basket. The basket has a shallow, rounded bowl form with gently curved sides. The basket rim is distinctive in that it is formed from larger woven elements that cross and loop to created a lattice like border.
This basket comes with a wooden maker's tag attributed to Cherokee Nation artist Stephanie Stick.
Measurements: Approximately 2.5" high, 4.5" wide, and 2" deep.
