This book was published in June 2015.  This book focuses on the dialect spoken by the Cherokees in Oklahoma, the Cherokee Nation and the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians.  It provides the grammatical foundation upon which all the dialects are based.  It is a reference grammar, and also includes two CD’s which contain various text examples.  The author has included Cherokee history, a collection of literary texts, two traditional stories, and a historical account of a search party traveling up the Arkansas River.
