This is a 1990 publication of the Cherokee National Historical Society. It is the basic resource book for any Cherokee ancestry researcher.  It includes maps, charts, descriptions of the various Cherokee Rolls, such as Baker Roll, Churchill Roll, Dawes Roll, Guion-Miller Roll, etc.  Also of interest are the microfilm #s of these Rolls, and description of the material found on each. There is information for non-Indians in Indian Territory as far as research sources, and information on enrollment procedures for the Cherokee Nation.PB, 61 pages,plus information on the First Families of the Cherokee Nation organization.
