Leigh Brill - Talbot Library hires a new Director

We are excited to announce that, on November 1, 2025, Leigh Brill was hired for the new position of Director at Talbot Library & Museum. Leigh's current main duties are fundraising, researching grant sources, attending events, and community engagement/meeting attendance representing the Talbot Library and Museum.

Leigh will also be working with the Board of Trustees at Talbot to help develop our long range vision for the library and museum. She will assist in other functions, which include working closely with Jennifer Davis, our on-site manager.

Leigh will be working at TL&M on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. (You can view our hours here.) She is already making an impact on our small library and museum. Please come by and meet her! Leigh is a graduate of Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Social Welfare. She has previous work experience in these fields and is also avid historian. Leigh is also familiar with TL&M as she is related to Avis Talbot, wife of our founder, Virgil Talbot.
